The sooner, the better! I only take on a handful of sessions each month to ensure I have enough time and attention for each client. Booking early guarantees availability around your due date, ensuring you receive the service you deserve.
I typically recommend scheduling newborn sessions when your baby is 2–4 weeks old. Moms often feel more settled, and families have begun finding a routine. However, this timing is entirely up to you. Upon booking we'll set a target date, and once your baby arrives, you can let me know so we can finalize the session date.

Once you officially book and sign your contract, I will provide you with a personalized styling guide for outfit coordination.
I’m also always available to consult based on your desired style for your session to make sure everyone feels confident and comfortable.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Newborn sessions typically take place in your home, adding sentimental value and ensuring a relaxed environment.
When you submit your inquiry, please include the town where you reside so I can plan travel accordingly. Locations outside my coverage area may incur an additional fee.
Prefer a studio? I have many local options and strong relationships with the owners to make that happen.
what location should i choose?
I am located in the South Shore of MA. Locations must be within 45 minutes of Hanover to avoid an additional travel fee.
For areas beyond that, I’m happy to discuss options and any related fees.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
After you submit your inquiry, I’ll reach out to finalize the details and compile the correct documentation for your session.
To secure your session, you’ll need to sign the contract within 48 hours of receipt and pay a 50% retainer fee.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK?
Babies are on their own schedule, and that’s okay!
I plan for flexibility around your due date and will adjust our session timing as needed to ensure we capture those precious early days.
what if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?
Newborn sessions typically last 90–120 minutes. I usually arrive around 9:30am and begin shooting around 10am. This allows time for setup, swaddling & soothing baby down before our session, and enough buffer time in case we need to pause for feeding, comforting, and any breaks so everyone stays happy and relaxed.
