You'll receive a lightly edited proofing gallery within 2-3 weeks (often sooner for holiday minis or if my schedule allows). From there, you’ll select your 5 included images and have the option to purchase additional ones. Once selections are made, final edits will be completed within one week—with priority given to time-sensitive galleries like holiday sessions.
HOW LONG AFTER OUR SESSION WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
Minis are perfect for capturing a specific moment—an updated family photo, birthday milestone, holiday card, or special announcement. They’re also great for young kids with shorter attention spans, though little ones often take time to warm up. Many of the best, most personality-filled images happen later in a full session, so if you prefer a more relaxed experience with extra time, a full session may be the better fit.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE A MINI INSTEAD OF FULL SESSION?
Kids? Absolutely! Dogs? Usually—unless the session is in a studio that doesn’t allow pets. Extended family? Unfortunately, no. Mini sessions are designed for immediate families and do not allow enough time to properly capture and edit large groups. If you’re looking for a session that includes extended family, I recommend booking a full extended family session.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS/DOGS/EXTENDED FAMILY?
Mini sessions move quickly, so there typically isn’t enough time for outfit changes. I recommend prioritizing your favorite look for your session. That said, you’re welcome to bring an extra outfit—if time allows, or if I have an opening before or after your session, I’ll be happy to accommodate a quick change.
CAN I PLAN FOR MULTIPLE OUTFITS?
To secure your session, the full session fee is due at booking. After booking, you'll receive a contract to complete and a personalized styling guide with outfit recommendations and details on what to expect before, during, and after your session—including gallery delivery.
