These sessions can take place in beautiful outdoor settings like beaches, fields, or wooded areas during golden hour for soft, flattering light. During your session, we’ll capture a mix of posed portraits, candid play, and meaningful interactions that highlight your family’s unique dynamic. Whether it’s parents swinging little ones, siblings sharing a giggle, or quiet snuggles, the goal is to document your story authentically and beautifully.

Extended family sessions capture multi-generational connections in locations that hold special meaning or provide scenic backdrops. Whether it’s at a family home, a meaningful location to your family history, or a scenic outdoor spot, these sessions celebrate relationships that span generations.
We’ll photograph large family portraits, grandparents with grandchildren, cousins playing together, and individual family units. My relaxed approach ensures a fun experience for all ages, resulting in images that reflect the love, joy, and togetherness that make your family truly special.

The sooner, the better! Booking in advance is especially important for popular seasons such as late spring, summer, and fall, which tend to fill up quickly.
I recommend booking your session at least 2–3 months in advance to secure your preferred date. Weekend availability is primarily reserved for the busy fall season to accommodate holiday sessions and earlier sunsets. In the summer, I prioritize time with my family, and weekday sessions are more accessible with golden hour falling outside standard work hours. If you need a weekend date, please mention this in your inquiry.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK & SCHEDULE MY SESSION FOR?
Once you officially book and sign your contract, I will provide you with a personalized styling guide to help coordinate outfits.
I recommend comfortable, flattering clothing that allows you to move freely and feel confident. Coordinated or complementary, but not matching, outfits work best to reflect your family’s style & everyone's individual style naturally. I’m always available to consult on outfit options to ensure everyone feels their best.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
I take a consultative approach when selecting locations. When you submit your inquiry, please include what style or vibe you envision for your session. This can be very broad (beach, field, urban, nautical/coastal, wooded) or as specific as you’d like.
Outdoor locations during golden hours (sunset or sunrise) provide beautiful natural backdrops, while in-home sessions offer a cozy, intimate feel. Together, we’ll choose a setting that perfectly complements your family’s story.
what location should i choose?
I am located in the South Shore of MA. Locations must be within 45 minutes of Hanover to avoid an additional travel fee.
For areas beyond that, I’m happy to discuss options and any related fees.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
After you submit your inquiry, I’ll reach out to finalize the details and compile the correct documentation for your session.
To secure your session, you’ll need to sign the contract within 48 hours of receipt and pay a 50% retainer fee.

A family session is designed for immediate family members—parents and children—capturing the connection, love, and everyday interactions that define your family. These sessions focus on your unique bond in a relaxed, intimate setting.
An extended family session includes multiple generations, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. These sessions provide the opportunity to capture large family portraits, individual family units, and special generational connections, ensuring everyone gets beautiful images to cherish.
What's the difference between a family and extended family session?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family too. If you’d like to include them, let me know in advance so we can choose a location that accommodates them and plan for a smooth session.
Can we include our pets in the session?
For outdoor sessions, I keep a close eye on the forecast and will reach out if conditions aren’t ideal.
We can discuss rescheduling or consider an alternative indoor location to ensure the best possible experience and photos.
